Wide nose has been a character of unattractive or non-feminine for a woman. Plastic surgeons are all dedicated to solve the problem during rhinoplasty.
The causes of wide nose could be thick skin, heavy subcutaneous tissue or SMAS, or broad bony or cartilageous structure.
According to nasal anatomical divisions and causes of wide nose, treatment strategies could be:
1. Bridge: glabellar area: capsulectomy or electrocautilization, implant shaping or augmentation
2. Upper third: nasal bone osteotomy or osteoplasty, nasal implant shaping
