Liposuction is one of the most common surgically performed procedures in plastic surgery, and its low complication rate supports the procedure’s popularity. Though major morbidities after liposuction are rare, it is important to address the appropriate management and prevention of these complications. When rare complications do occur, they must be recognized early, and tend to require aggressive attention and treatment.
