Midface aging is noted by the development of eye bags tear trough deformity, and lid-cheek junction. Sub-orbicularis oculi fat (SOOF) lift has been reported to performed via pre-periosteal plane to lift the mid face soft tissue. SOOF lift can be performed with lower blepharoplasty and other facial procedures to augment the mid face rejuvenation. Based on personal experience, the effects and limitations of SOOF lift are presented.
