The application of CAD/CAM technology has been very helpful in craniofacial surgery. For facial bone fractures, bone tumors and mandible reconstructions the surgeons can prepare the operations by presurgical simulation and guide the cutting path by 3D printing patient specific models. Here we present our experiences about how we do for the clinical cases. Other related surgical assisting technologies, such as surgical navigation system and intraoperative 3D imaging C-arm CT, are also briefly presented.
