  • High Definition Liposuction in Patient Using Power-Assisted Liposuction Technique.

    Abstract

Objectives: The aim of this study was to describe my experience, including techniques and postoperative outcomes, by using high definition liposuction with power-assisted liposuction (PAL) technology patients.

Material: Liposuction and high definition liposuction was performed only by power-assisted liposuction technique ( Microaire).

Methods: In this prospective study PAL (Microaire) was used for fat extraction and to perform high definition liposuction. Intraoperative data were collected and the techniques used were recorded. Postoperatively, photographs were taken.

Results: Patients with an average age of 31.4 years and a body mass index of 27.3 kg/m2; the follow-up period averaged 6 months. Intraoperatively, patients received high definition to either chest, abdomen, back, or upper arms. They returned to work 4 days after surgery and were back to full activity in 4 weeks. There is no Minor complications reported.

Conclusions: High definition liposuction by using PAL technology is a safe procedure that has good results with high patient satisfaction rates, low risk of complications, and a relatively short and tolerable recovery process.
