After collecting many clinical experiences, surgeons may consolidate a personal formula to determine the position of incision line for upper blepharoplasty. However, the rationale of the specific formula was usually not explained thoroughly in the presentation or articles. Thus beginners can be puzzled when learning upper blepharoplasty and even more, when dealing with revision upper blepharoplasty, it is astonishing that many decisions of incision line were made wrong with poor understanding of the rationale.
The author will propose a rational, generally applicable way to help determine the position of incision line in upper blepharoplasty.
