Upper blepharoplasty is usually adopted for creating lid folds, improving upper eyelids bagging and sagging deformities. Which is among the most popular cosmetic surgeries in Taiwan. How to manage and avoid complications in upper eyelid surgeries is thus very important. Which presented here are: transection of levator, loosening or disappearance of lid folds, undue tension over lids, hematoma and asymmetry during operation, and finally the so-called “A-frame” deformity. Literature review and the solutions are also presented.
