Infra-mammary fold (IMF) approached mammoplasty is a basic technique to every breast plastic surgeon, but many doctors are not skilled in this procedure. Because of the advancement of trans-axillary endoscopic breast augmentation in the past few decades, we have overlooked this safe and fundamental surgery since the training of specialists. In this presentation Dr. Chuang will share his entire innovative concept and procedure about IMF breast augmentation, including how to apply modified Randquist’s formula to accurately locate the new infra-mammary fold, choice of proper prosthesis, dual-plane pocket dissection, and the last but most important internal fixation to secure the scar hidden in the under breast fold. He will also come up with some examples to emphasize the importance of precise new IMF positioning in IMF approached breast augmentation.
